Two thousand presale spots. Fans pick a show and a number.
A hard cap for the presale, a dropdown for the show, and a number for tickets. Fans see their spot, bots see nothing, and you hand the list to ticketing in position order.
Waitlist full
The presale list is full. General sale opens Friday.
The problem
The presale form is a Google Form and the bots found it first
You post the presale link and within an hour the sheet has 9,000 rows, most of them junk. Fans who signed up honestly do not know if they made it. Ticketing asks for a clean list of emails by city and you spend the weekend deduplicating.
The recipe
Exactly what the button sets up
Capacity, reset time, opening hours, and the form fields. It is a starting point, not a cage. Every value is editable in Settings and the builder.

How it works here
How the list works
Cap the presale
2,000 spots. The form stops taking names at 2,000.
Pick a show
A dropdown for city and date. Export by show for each venue's allotment.
Tickets per fan
A number field, 1 to 4. The total per show is in the export.
Keep bots out
Captcha, honeypot, timing check, and per-IP limits. Scripts get a fake success and no row.
Hide the count
Turn off the public count. Fans see their number, not how many are left.
Hand off the list
CSV by show in position order, or a webhook per signup into your ticketing partner on Pro.
Why it holds up
What matters most
The cap holds at announcement
Positions are assigned under a database lock. A viral post gets 2,000 spots, in order, and no more.
One fan, one entry
Dedupe by email. A second submit returns the same position.
The list is clean on arrival
No junk rows. Every email passed the captcha and the rate limit.
The form matches the tour art
Colors, radius, and font are tokens. Set them once for the whole tour.
