Twenty spots per class. Registration opens the night before.
Per-class capacity with an overnight registration window. Members sign up the evening before, see their spot number, and the list resets for the next class on its own.
Iron District HIIT
Twenty mats, 6 AM sharp. Grab yours for tomorrow.
The problem
The 6:00 AM class fills in a group chat and nobody knows who is 21st
Registration happens in a WhatsApp group. Someone posts the class, replies pile up, and the coach counts thumbs-up emojis in the morning. Twenty-three people show up for twenty bikes. The gym management app can do this, but it costs more per month than the class makes.
The recipe
Exactly what the button sets up
Capacity, reset time, opening hours, and the form fields. It is a starting point, not a cage. Every value is editable in Settings and the builder.

How it works here
How the list works
Capacity per class
Twenty per day, and the day starts at 6:00 PM. One class, one window, one count.
An overnight window
Open 6:00 PM, close 5:00 PM. Because close is earlier than open, the window crosses midnight.
Spot numbers
"You're #12 today." Members know they are in before they set the alarm.
Membership number
A short text field. Match it against your roster before class.
The roster
Export today's list as CSV, or webhook each booking to a sheet on Pro.
Free a spot
Delete a cancellation and the next member can book. Numbers are never reused.
Why it holds up
What matters most
Twenty-one never happens
Capacity is enforced in the database. When the whole group chat clicks at 6:00 PM, twenty get in.
The closed state does the explaining
"Opens again today at 6:00 PM" replaces the pinned message nobody reads.
One form, every class
The window and the count roll over on their own. You never make a new signup sheet.
Works in a Linktree
The hosted page is a link. The script works on Squarespace and Wix too.
FAQ
Questions people here ask
Can I run several classes a day from one list?
Each waitlist has one capacity window. For a 6:00 AM and a 6:00 PM class with separate caps, create two waitlists.
Does it text members when a spot opens?
No SMS. Members get a confirmation email with their number and a link to check their place. When a spot opens, send "your turn" from the Entries tab and they get an email.
Can members cancel themselves?
Yes. The confirmation email links to their place in line, where one tap leaves the line and frees the spot for the next member.
Does it charge for the class?
No. Unwaited takes names and enforces capacity. Billing stays in your membership software.
