Waitlists and bookings for anything people wait for.

Early access to a new site. Five hundred seats at a SaaS launch. Twenty spots in the 6 AM class. Forty loaves on Saturday. Two hundred pairs on Friday's drop. Pick a ready-made waitlist from our recipes, or build your own. People reserve a spot, take a number, or book a slot. You get back to work.

The product

Capacity, hours, and numbers. Handled.

Set how many, when, and what to ask. Every signup gets a number. When you're full the page says so and tells people when you open again.

Put it anywhere

Your page, your site, or your code

Every waitlist comes with all three. Use one, or all of them at once.

A hosted page

unwaited.com/your-name, with your logo, title, description, footer, and social links. Share the link or print the QR code. No website needed.

Embedded on your site

One script tag or an iframe, and the form sits inside the page you already have. Shopify, Squarespace, Wix, WordPress, Webflow, Framer, or plain HTML.

From your own code

One POST to the API from your app or your signup flow, and a webhook when someone joins. Same numbers, same capacity rules.

Bookings

Time slots with their own caps

9 AM, 10 AM, 11 AM, five each. Full slots grey out on their own, every booking gets a number, and nobody double-books a chair. Slots reset with your day, week, or month.

  • Photo mini sessions, barber chairs, workshop seats, tasting tables
  • Confirmation email with a link to check or cancel
  • No calendar sync, no payments: just spots that fill honestly

Your side

Run the line from your phone

The Entries tab is the whole back office. Everyone who joined, in order, with a status you can change in one tap.

  • Call the next person: one tap sends the “it's your turn” email, with a note if you want.
  • They get the email and a live status link. Mark them served, or they leave the line themselves.
  • Export the door list in order as CSV, or search by email when someone walks up.

Everything a line needs

Nothing to build, nothing to babysit

Set it once. It takes names, keeps count, and closes the door on its own.

Capacity per day, week, or total

Ten a day that resets at 5 AM. Twelve a week from Monday. Or a plain total.

Opening hours

Take names Tue to Sat, 6 to 12. Outside that, the page says exactly when it opens.

Position numbers

“You're #4 today.” Two people never get the same number, even when everyone taps at once.

Full means full

No over-collecting, no apology emails. The page shows the next opening instead.

You call the next person

One tap emails “it's your turn”, then mark them served. Joiners get a link to check their place or leave the line.

Bots stay out

We keep bots out behind the scenes, so your line is real people and nothing else.

How it works

Live in three steps, in under a minute

  1. Pick a recipe, or start from scratch

A ready-made waitlist for a gym class, bakery preorder, walk-ins, or a drop, with the capacity and hours already set. Or build your own.

  2. Share the link or the QR

Put it in your bio, print the QR for the counter, or paste one line into your website.

  3. Watch the line

Every signup gets a number. Mark people served, export the list, or let it run.

Where it sits

Not a form. Not a launch list. Not a host stand.

Those tools each give you one piece. Unwaited gives you the whole line: a limit on spots, a number for each person, a page where they check their place, and a button that tells the next one it is their turn.

If you were going to use

A form backend

Stores the submission and emails you. It does not know there are 20 spots, that today is full, or that this person is #14.

Unwaited caps it, numbers it, closes the form on its own, and shows each joiner where they stand. Every entry is kept, on every plan.

If you were going to use

A launch waitlist tool

Built for one launch day: referrals, a leaderboard, a blast to the whole list. Once you start serving people, it has nothing left to say.

Unwaited runs the line after the launch too: capacity per day or week, opening hours, and one click to tell the next person it is their turn.

If you were going to use

A queue app

A tablet at the host stand, staff logins, a text message per guest, a price per location.

Unwaited is the sign-up half of that: a link people join before they arrive, on your own site, run by one person, from free.

FAQ

Questions worth asking

Do I need a website?

No. Every waitlist gets its own hosted page and a QR code. Put the link in your bio or print the QR for the counter. If you do have a site, one line of HTML embeds the form on it.

Do I need to know how to code?

No. Pick a recipe or build the form in the editor, set the capacity and hours, and share the link. Developers can use the POST API, but nobody has to.

Is this a queue app for restaurants?

It is the sign-up half of one: names, numbers, capacity per day, and opening hours. It does not text guests when a table is ready or run a host stand. If that is what you need, look at Waitwhile or Yelp Guest Manager.

Does it email the people who sign up?

When you turn it on for a waitlist, joiners get an email with their number and a link to check their place or leave the line. You get one email per signup, or none if you turn it off.

Where do the numbers come from?

Positions and capacity are decided inside a database row lock on every submit. A test fires 50 concurrent joins at capacity 10 and gets exactly 10, numbered 1 to 10. Slot caps are checked inside the same lock, so nobody double-books a chair.

What does the free plan include?

Unlimited waitlists and 100 signups a month, the full form builder, embeds, the API, email notifications, and CSV export, with a small badge. We never delete your signups. Starter is $10 a month for 2,500 signups and webhooks. Pro is $20 a month for 5,000 signups with no badge, your logo in the QR code, file fields, allowed domains, and your own Turnstile keys. Yearly is two months free.
