What is Unwaited?

Unwaited helps businesses organize bookings, preorders, queues, and signups with forms they can share by link, QR code, or website embed. Customers fill out your form, and you manage their bookings, orders, queue tickets, or signups in one dashboard.

Which type of form should I use?

Use Bookings for classes, workshops, appointments, and events with available times or places. Use Pre-orders for products with limited stock and pickup choices. Use Queue management to organize walk-ins, and Signups to collect interest for a launch, waitlist, or community.

Do I need a website?

No. Share your Unwaited link directly or print a QR code. If you have a website, you can embed the form there too.

Do people need an account to join?

No. People fill out your form and receive a private link to check their signup, queue ticket, booking, or order.

Can I add my branding and questions?

Yes. Add your logo, choose your colors, and ask for the details you need. Answers stay with each person’s record.

Does Unwaited collect payments?

No. Unwaited manages reservations and preorder requests. Arrange payment separately, such as at pickup.

Is there a free plan?

Yes. Free includes 100 signups per month across your account. Bookings, queue tickets, and orders count toward that allowance. Compare plans or read how signups are counted.

Can I try Unwaited before creating an account?

Yes. Set up a booking or preorder page without an account. Sign in when you are ready to save and publish.

Can I embed a form on my existing website?

Yes. Add the form to a website that supports embeds or custom HTML. Customers can sign up, book, or order without leaving your site. The integrations directory has setup guides for platforms including WordPress, Webflow, Shopify, and Squarespace.

How do live queues work?

A person or group joins and receives a ticket with a private link to check their place. Staff manage the line from the dashboard, call the next party, and mark tickets as served. Queue capacity counts active parties rather than individual people.

Can people book appointments, classes, and events?

Yes. Bookings let people choose an available appointment or a place in a scheduled activity. You manage dates, capacity, and attendees. A confirmed booking reserves a place; it is not a waiting list for a sold-out event.

How do pre-orders work?

Add products, stock quantities, and pickup choices. Customers select items and quantities, and accepted orders reserve stock. Track orders from preparation to pickup in your dashboard. Payment is arranged separately; Unwaited does not provide checkout.

Can I export my signups?

Yes. You can export signup details and answers from your dashboard as a CSV file. Details held because they exceed your plan coverage are excluded until they are covered.

Does Unwaited have an API?

Yes. Developers can use the API to build custom forms and connect Unwaited to an application. Each workflow has its own submission rules. Starter and Pro also include signed webhooks for supported events. See the developer documentation for endpoints and requirements.
