A Typeform that emails you rows. A Google Sheet nobody trusts. A Mailchimp form that tags people but tells them nothing. Meanwhile the people signing up see no number and no sign that a line exists. Set it up yourself, step by step

The same values, typed in. About five minutes.

  1. Create the waitlist

    Open the "Early access" template, change what you like, and press Publish. An emailed code makes it yours and puts it live; nothing is public before that.

  2. Leave capacity unlimited

    In Settings, leave the capacity empty. Everyone who joins gets a number in order and the list never reads as full.

  3. Leave the hours open

    Under Hours, leave the schedule off so people can join at any time. You can pause the list by hand whenever you need to.

  4. Add the form fields

    Email is built in. On the Form tab, add Company, Team size. Labels and help text render as plain text.

  5. Show the counter

    In Settings, turn on the counter so the form shows how many spots are left. People join faster when they can see the number.

  6. Publish and share

    Click Publish. The Share tab has the hosted link, a QR code, and the script tag or iframe for your site. The submit button reads "Get early access".

FAQ

Questions people here ask

Can I use my own form instead of the widget?

Yes. POST the fields to the entries endpoint from any stack. Send a captcha token from the browser, or use an API key from your server.

Does it email the people who sign up?

Yes. Joiners get a confirmation with their number and a link to check their place or leave the list. You get an owner email per signup. Invites still go out from your own email tool using the CSV export.

What happens at 100 signups in a month on the free plan?

The form reads as full until the 1st. Upgrade to Pro and it reopens right away with every entry intact.

Can I show the count on my page?

Yes. The embed can display the running count, and the API returns it with every response.
