Bakeries and cafés

The preorder waitlist for bakeries and cafés

Forty loaves a day, orders taken two days ahead, a cutoff at 10:00 AM. Unwaited turns the preorder form into a list that knows the day, the count, and the cutoff, and tells customers when the next day opens.

The problem

What goes wrong for bakeries and cafés

The form takes 90 orders for 40 loaves

A Google Form never fills. Someone spends the morning emailing the people who did not make it.

Orders arrive after the dough is shaped

The form does not know it is 10:15 AM. Late orders keep coming and you either bake more or apologize.

Preorders live in Instagram DMs

Regulars message to reserve, you reply from the bench, and the count lives in your head.

Why Unwaited

Built for this line, not a generic form

  • Capacity per day with a reset time and lead days, so Saturday's form fills Monday's list and the customer sees "#12 for Monday".
  • Opening hours in your time zone. At 10:01 the form is closed and says when it opens again.
  • A loaf dropdown, a quantity capped at four, and a pickup time, all in the CSV you bake from.

FAQ

Questions

Can customers pay online?

No. Unwaited does not take payments. Take payment at pickup or send a link from your POS.

Does the cap count loaves or orders?

Orders. Set the cap to the number of orders you can fill, or limit the quantity field to one.

Can I run separate lists for bread and pastries?

Yes. Every plan has unlimited waitlists. Or put a Time slot field on one list and give each product its own cap.
