Community builders

The invite waitlist for communities, clubs, and cohorts

A Discord you let people into ten at a time. A cohort of thirty. A members-only club with a line at the door. Unwaited keeps the line in order, tells people where they stand, and lets you invite from the top.

The problem

What goes wrong for community builders

The line is a Google Sheet tab

Requests arrive by DM and form, get pasted into a sheet, and nobody, including you, knows the real order.

People ask where they stand

"Am I still on the list?" is half your inbox.

Invites go to people who moved on

By the time you reach them, they forgot they applied. You cannot tell who still wants in.

Why Unwaited

Built for this line, not a generic form

  • Every request gets a number and a status page showing how many are ahead. The questions stop.
  • People who changed their mind leave from their status link, which moves everyone behind them up.
  • Ask why they want in with a text field, then invite from the top with the "your turn" email and mark them served.

FAQ

Questions

Can I approve or reject people?

You can mark an entry served when you invite them and remove anyone you will not admit. There is no approval workflow beyond that.

Can members refer friends to skip ahead?

No. Positions are the order people joined. There are no referral points or leaderboards.

Does it work without a website?

Yes. Share the hosted page link in your Discord, newsletter, or bio. No site needed.
