Add a waitlist to Carrd

Embed a waitlist on a Carrd one-pager with the Embed element.

Steps

Where it goes in Carrd

Takes a few minutes. Nothing to install on your side; the form loads from Unwaited and keeps the cap, hours, and numbers there.

  1. Copy the snippet from the Share tab

    Open your waitlist, go to Share, then Add to your site. Copy the script tag: <script src="https://unwaited.com/embed/v1.js" data-unwaited="your-slug" async></script>. It drops an iframe where it sits and resizes it as the form changes.

  2. Add an Embed element

    In the editor click Add Element and choose Embed. Set Style to Inline so the form renders in place.

  3. Paste the code

    Paste the script tag in the Code box. Carrd accepts script tags in Embed elements.

  4. Publish

    Publish and open the site. The form loads inside the page at its own height.

Questions

I am on the free plan. What are my options?

A Button or Links element pointing at the hosted page. The page is themed with your colors and works on phones.

Can I use Hidden style?

No. Hidden puts code in the head or body end, which is not where a form should render. Use Inline.

Does it work with Carrd forms?

It replaces them. The Unwaited form collects the signup and shows the number; you do not need a Carrd form.
