Before you start

  • Permission to edit the Notion page and publish or share it with your intended visitors.
  • Use the hosted URL, not a script tag or raw iframe markup. A normal text link or bookmark is the simplest option.

Set it up

  1. Publish your Unwaited page and copy its link

    Finish editing your page and publish it. Open Share, then Link and QR, and copy the hosted page address.

  2. Choose link or embed

    For a link, add text such as Join the waitlist and link it to the hosted address, or paste the URL as a bookmark. For an embed, type /embed and enter the hosted URL. Resize the block and keep a normal link nearby if the embed cannot load.

  3. Check the visitor's route

    Open your public page or profile on a phone and tap the link. Confirm it opens the intended, published Unwaited page. Check the title and available action before sharing it with customers.

For a form-only embed, use the hosted link with ?embed=1. Keep the normal link available too.

Questions

Can I send records to a Notion database?

That requires a separate automation. Unwaited Starter and Pro can send Standard entry and Preorder order webhooks to a tool such as Zapier; linking or embedding alone does not do this.

What if Notion only shows a bookmark?

Use that bookmark or a text link to open the hosted form. Generic embeds depend on what Notion can display; a normal link keeps the visitor route clear.
