Before you start

  • JavaScript and iframe Code blocks require Core, Plus, Advanced, or an eligible legacy Business or Commerce plan.
  • On a plan without scripts or iframes, add a Button block with the hosted link. An iframe does not bypass the plan requirement.

Set it up

  1. Publish your Unwaited page and copy its embed

    Finish editing your page and publish it. In Share, open Add to your site and copy the script snippet. The examples below use a placeholder; your Share tab has the actual code.

  2. Add a Code block

    Edit your page, choose Add block → Code, and paste the script. Select HTML and leave Display Source off. Save the page. Use a page Code block so the form appears where visitors need it.

  3. Check the published page

    Open the live site outside the editor, on desktop and a phone. Confirm the intended Unwaited page loads and every field and button fits. Use a separate test page if you want to try a submission; it creates a real record and may send notifications.

Use a fixed-height iframe instead

Your platform must allow iframes. This does not bypass its plan requirements; set a height that fits the form.

If an embed is unavailable or difficult to size, add a normal button or text link to your published Unwaited page.

Should I use an Embed block?

Use a Code block for this script. Squarespace's Embed block is primarily for services that provide oEmbed content.

What if my plan blocks the embed?

Add a Button block and use your published hosted link as its destination. Visitors complete the same Unwaited form on its own page.
