People who join want proof. A number on a screen disappears when they close the tab, and then they message you to ask if they are still on the list. Some of them changed their mind and have no way to tell you.

How it works
What the setting does
A confirmation email on every signup
"You're #12 on Daily bake", with your success message, the number, and a link to their status page. Turn it on or off per waitlist in Settings under General, Notifications.
A status page they can check any time
The link shows their number, how many people are ahead, and the window it belongs to, like "for Monday". It uses your theme. No login.
Leave the line
One button with a confirm step. Leaving frees their spot and their slot immediately. They can rejoin later and get a new number at the back.
Tell them when it is their turn
From the entries page, send a "your turn" email to one person with an optional note, then mark them served. Served entries keep their spot; only leaving or removing frees it.
You get an email too
An owner email per signup with the number and their answers, and a webhook if you use them.

Questions
Can I send the emails from my own address?
Not yet. Emails come from Unwaited with your waitlist name in the subject.
Can I text people instead?
No. Unwaited does not send SMS. Collect a phone field and call or text from your own phone.
Can I email everyone on the list at once?
No. The "your turn" email goes to one person at a time. For announcements, export the CSV into your email tool.
What if someone signs up with the wrong email?
The confirmation says "if this wasn't you, use the link to leave". Anyone with the status link can leave the line, and you can remove the entry from the dashboard.
